Me and my Sister.

Deryn came to stay for the weekend all the way from Auckland ,she came to school and everyone thinks she is so cool,especially the girls in my class.While she was here she watched me play touch,watched all the school 100th Centenury celebrations,Jacob cutting the cake,Hayden went shopping with her,she also taught me how to make rings and gave me wire and coins so i can practise.We had a very special day at school on friday as the Library opened and Kerry Marshall came and cut the ribbon to open it,he is a very funny Major.We did lots of activities for all the ex tahana pupils that had come back for the celebrations and also Deryn was there so she got to see all the cool things we do at school now.We had a special pancake,bacon,and egg breakfast for Deryn,and also her favourite roast pork dinner,we also caught up with lovely Amy her very good friend.She didnt stay for long but it was awesome to see her.

Gala Week

Last weekend was the gala ,it was very awesome,the school made 25,000 towards the new school pool.All week we made things for the gala in art time,I made ginger bread men , it was fun,i had 5 of my friends come to my house and we made and decorated them there ,Hayden made photo frames and Jacob made a inky pencil.Gala day was very busy,i had lots of turns on the chocolate wheel with my friend we won heaps of chocolate and gorged ourselves with it, this would be the best thing about Tahuna school yet.Jacob played the coconut shy and hit three coconuts off and won a chipmunks voucher and a disposible camera.Hayden played Hoopla and won a rollerskating pass.Mum and Dad ran Hoopla all day so thank goodness Helen came and looked after us.While mum and dad had drinks after wards we all got to go on , Nelsons most amazing water slide,that just happens to be at our school,as Jacob would say,ït was totally wicked".

Beaching it again

Sadly we had to go back to school today,and Jacob did the big shoe drama thing were he walks all the way to school saying he hates his shoes,Mr perfectionist hasn't had to wear his school shoes for 5 days and just wore his crocs over Easter so it was a shock having to wear them again,luckily we can just scooter to school and leave mum to deal with Jacob.Mum wondered if there was someone in the family that hated shoes so much when they were little.Anyway after school we watch TV had some burgers and then went to Tahana beach for a swim,I practiced my skim board moves,while Hayden and Jacob boogie boarded and then we had a sand fight.We saw a awesome cloud and it looked just like a sherpards pie((my favourite dinner) to me ,mum re cons i have a brilliant imagination.

Nana Ona

This is our other Nana,she has been traveling alot lately,she has just been to Egypt with Aunty Angela and she went on a camel ride,we think she must be very cool to ride on a camel when she is a Nana.

Our outing with Nana

Today we took Nana out to the Washington gardens to see the ducks and begonias , then we went to Rabbit island.It was great having Nana to hang out with us she was impreesed with our swimming.

Happy Birthday Alex

Today Uncle Rob ,Sue and Alec came for lunch it was awesome we played really well,we went to the school on our bikes and had lunch,then gave Alec a cake for his birthday next week and presents.We had a swim at the pool.
